An Online Marketing Checklist
July 29, 2010 by publisher · Leave a Comment
There are many reasons why an online business will fail. Here is a checklist that will help you identify some of those reasons.
· Don’t believe the hype – The general mantra in this instance is “If it is too good to be, then it is”. Don’t get involved in any business or programme that makes fantastic claims. One of the key questions you should ask such a place is “How can you guarantee the longevity and sustainability of this method?” The general answer you should get should be something along the lines of “multiple/varied streams of income”; if not, you are wasting your time there.
· Don’t be forced to buy in – Avoid any training programmes or marketing groups that insist on you making a purchase to enter. Usually these are their own training products or other materials related to the course. There are planet of free sites out there, so don’t waste your money.
· Connect with your sponsor – If the sponsor of your business is someone you can’t connect with, just walk away. It is your business so you have every right to do so. Staying with a incompatible sponsor will hurt your business more than you think.
· Spend more time learning – Whatever programme or course you join, give it the most attention. A half hearted approach will only waste your time.
· Do not rest on your laurels – When you achieve success do everything possible to continue it. Make the right contacts with industry leaders and always make sure you discuss upcoming trends and new business practices. In short, try to stay ahead of the game.
· What’s your goal? – “I want to be rich!” is not the goal to have; you have to be more specific. “I want to have 500 new leads in the next 2 months and I want to make $60,000 more than I did in the last three months” is more along the lines of what you should be looking at.
· Commitment – You can’t commit all your time to a business. However, you can’t neglect it either. So draw up schedule that will help you allocate time between your work and your family/ social life. Ensure that you are doing everything you should be doing for your business and that you do not fail to complete each days list of to-do’s.

Using a USB serial adapter
July 21, 2010 by publisher · Leave a Comment
Ports have been made available for computer users so that they can add external devices that can enhance their use of a PC such as storage or communication devices. With the provision of several USB ports while the other ports not available in the same number, the need for more serial ports have been recognized and thus one can purchase a docking station so that they can get a number of serial, parallel, PS/2, Ethernet ports and so on and so forth.
All one has to do is plug the USB jack into any of the USB ports and then use whichever port that is required for the external device. At another level altogether, with the obvious lack of serial ports as compared to the USB ports available, another device known as the USB serial adapter can be used to connect all your devices that requires serial ports.
Apart from these devices that deal with communication (modems, digital cameras and printers) and storage (external hard disks), one can also use a USB audio adapter to either use a mike, headphones or even a surround sound system.
Strangely enough, with all these devices available for users to take full advantage of the numerous USB ports, there will be no necessity for computer manufacturers to add any more serial or any other kind of ports.
Going with the Flow of Success in E-Commerce

Without a doubt, online shopping has become very popular because a lot of people now consider the Internet safe for their shopping. We have to admit, that it is much easuer to go to your computer, sit down and browse through hundreds of products which are available over the web rather than go to the mall and spend on gas and travel time. This is the main reason why the success of e-commerce is undeniable.
Because a lot of businesses saw this opportunity, the number of online retail stores has grown at a very high rate than those of regular retail stalls in the mall. If you are one of those people trying to make it to the internet business, be reminded that you are not the sole seller over the web. Because of the potential market the Internet offers, the competition to get all of these markets has become high.
Any business with a lot of capital and a budget for a website can go into the e-commerce business. But because of the growing competition, a lot of people are not realizing the amount of time and effort they have to exert in order to survive the Internet business.
There is no question that the numbers are favoring those who are into the Internet business. Statistics have shown that in the past years, Internet sales have grown to approximately 27.5% from where it began.
Internet marketing has sky-rocketed and has become the number one choice of people and businesses on the go. If your business is into online selling, for it to be able to withstand the test of time, you have got to have two important tools: an effective plan of action and a quality internet marketing strategy.

Los Angeles computer consultants
July 12, 2010 by publisher · Leave a Comment
With our absolute dependence on computers these days, there is no doubt that a business more than ever will struggle with productivity and resource utilization without the help of IT support Orange County.
Yes, we use computers for everything… don’t we?
And while most people only know how to use at least 15 to 20 % of a system, there is no doubt that an IT team is integral to the overall success of the organization. Now, in some cases, where people have to build the IT team from a scratch, finding an IT consulting Los Angeles firm can do the trick as there are several advantages of hiring such an outfit as opposed to hiring fulltime employees.
Firstly, the support you receive as an organization is 24 X 7 X 365, as there is always a backup plan. Always. Take for example the situation where a fulltime employee needs to be away on leave as opposed to someone from an IT consultant service.
In the case of the former, you would have to deal with finding a suitable replacement whereas in the case of Los Angeles computer consultants, the company you have hired will have already taken that into consideration.
If that’s not enough, if one compares the costs of running a fulltime IT department as opposed to hiring a consulting company’s services, ‘value for money’ is the first thing that will come to mind. And which company doesn’t want that?
