FriendFeed introduces real time search

Following on from the success of Twitter’s search function, FriendFeed has announced that it has now integrated a real-time search feature. The new function on FriendFeed, an aggregator of social media sites, can be accessed through the regular search box. Users can also access the advanced options and saved searches to get real time results

Bing starts including tweets in search results

Just a day after anti-internet maven Andrew Keen surmised in the Telegraph that “Google’s glory years may lie in the past”, Microsoft’s has announced that its new - and increasingly lauded - search engine Bing will include real-time results from Twitter.
